So glad we got these. We bought these earrings to have as a backup pair in case my child’s (9 year old) new piercing came out. 3 weeks in, sure enough, one evening she hugged her father and her original gold piercing earring (not an Inverness earring) snagged on his shirt and the earring back seemed bent. We pushed it back on and thought it was fine, but when she woke up the next day her earring had fallen out in her sleep. So glad we had this pair of titanium studs with the sharp end and locking backs. We were able to clean her ears and insert these in her ears easily (fortunately the piercing hole had not closed) and they have been great. No redness/infection after the incident. No backs falling off. Her ears are happy with the titanium and they look great. I highly recommend parents get a pair of these as a backup in case of a piercing incident like ours.
